EXPERIENCE

isportsweb

September 2013-Present

 

Isportsweb is a sports information website that has been expanding its coverage from the NFL, MLB, NCAA Football and more.  A plethora of writers are involved with the isportsweb family to bring the newest, hottest sports news to a wide audience.

I cover the Cleveland Browns, South Carolina Football and Chelsea FC for isportsweb.  

GAMENIGHT 

​August 2013-Present

 

​ Gamenight is a student produced television sports talk show run by Stephen Dixon, Pearson Fowler and myself.  The three of us work with a few other students to film and edit the show which features on Furman University's own television channel.  

​

All of the episodes can be found on our Youtube channel as well.

 

I am the Marketing Director for the Paladin Network, the organization that produces the show.  

ESPN3/SOCON SPORTS
November 2013-Present

​

Furman University hosted the Southern Conference Championships in both soccer and volleyball in November of 2013.  I worked with both the Southern Conference and a crew from ESPN3 during both tournaments.  For the soccer championship I kept statistics and coordinated with the ESPN3 truck.  

 

For the volleyball tournament I both filmed and ran utilities for the camera operators from the ESPN3 team.  

 

I have also been heavily involved with the ESPN3 basketball productions during the 2014-2015 season.  I run the audio board in the control room for these productions.  

The Chris Edel Show 
January 2014-Present

The Chris Edel Show is a sports talk radio show I host and produce that has an online stream at furmanwpls.com every Monday and Wednesday from 7-8.  

WCCP
February 2014-Present

​

I work at WCCP, the flagship station for Clemson sports, as a board operator for basketball and baseball broadcasts.  Over the past year, I also produced daily shows and football broadcasts.  I also edited segments for the shows and featured as a guest analyst.
